• Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements;• Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure accuracy;• Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other documents;• Keeping track of materials and order schedules.• Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.• Traveling to various sites as required.• Forecasting costs for different components needed for a project;• Tracking changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections in line accordingly;• Measuring and valuing the work done on site;• Calculating materials quantities and costs, labor costs, and a ensuring an achievable project timeframe;• Monitoring subcontractors, safety practices, construction progress, and material needs, including any changes that may impact costs.
The Document Controller is responsible for managing and organizing all project-related documents in compliance with established procedures. This includes maintaining SharePoint and shared drives, ensuring proper document flow, version control, and filing of all correspondence. The role also involves supporting project meetings by preparing and distributing minutes of meetings (MoMs), coordinating with project staff and international teams, and translating documents as needed. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in English and Mongolian.
