1. Initiate timely telephone calls or emails to the customer to obtain loads or pass along needed information including shipping details. Negotiating rates and arrange for the on-time pick-up and delivery schedules of all the company truck.
2. Managing truck drivers’ schedules and routes and scheduling freight to be picked up and delivered. Reviewing logs of truck drivers.
3. Directs and assists drivers with suggested and recommended posted routes, on-road maintenance issues, and safety related matters.
4. Provide excellent customer service by establishing a rapport with company clients and customers.
5. Ensure that all customer requests, complaints, and inquiries are tracked and handled promptly.
6. Documenting all calls, deliveries, routes and times for pickups and deliveries. Completing paperwork related to shipments.
7. Performs any additional functions needed to meet the goals of the department.

• Tech-savvy with knowledge of relevant methods (Microsoft office & other programs)
• Heavy computer uses with dual screens working on a multitude of websites, email, various communication platforms, dispatch software, ELD software and third-party asset tracking software.
• Fast typing with experience in data entry
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Knowledge of procedures and guideline for emergency situations
• Comprehensive knowledge of local freeways and major roads.
• Ability to identify problems and bring them to resolution.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently while managing emails, multiple phone calls, texting platforms and cell phone calls.
