The position objective is to support clients with automation application knowledge and recommendations for automation and data-driven solutions. Work closely with the service operation to achieve business objectives. With the evolution of digital technology, now the equipment is connected and managed with a range of digital products.

Specific tasks and responsibilities, but are not limited to:

• To manage proper handling of Certiq commissioning and trouble shooting
• Rig Remote Access (RRA) configuration
• Lead tele remote and automation system deployment and support after commissioned
• Collision Avoidance System support
• Work with end customers IT staff in identifying systems network requirements to support equipment and process automation.
• Identify and assist the field sales team to provide customers with an understanding of what solutions we can offer to assist with safety and productivity improvements.
• Convert data to trend analyses to identify, improved performance opportunities and possible modelling.
• To liaise with the Technology product company to obtain information and provide feedback to enable product improvements
• To liaise with the Customer to support Epiroc technology products

Requirements:

• Technical University or Technical College degree
• Basic IT and automation knowledge
• Practical experience in the service of mining or similar heavy industrial equipment is mandatory
• Good knowledge of computer programs
• Advanced level of English required
• Valid driver license is mandatory
• Ability to provide quick and clear communication with different groups of people
