JOB SUMMARY: Senior Accountant

Under Finance Director’s direction, perform and assist monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting duties, including; prepare Financial Statements and its disclosure, monthly internal, management and external reports, compile and prepare annual budget and quarterly forecast, analyse the Company’s financial position and performance, prepare and submit Tax returns, and communication with government agencies; actively get involved in month end closing and perform other related work as required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Most important skills and competencies required for Senior Reporting Accountant are team play ability, includes: plan, coordinate, organize, and prioritize work; analyse problems and develop solutions; create computer spreadsheets and reports; compile, analyse, and evaluate fiscal data and reports; maintain journals and ledgers and prepare financial summaries; make arithmetical calculations, email correspondence and Microsoft office, coordinate with supervisors and co-workers; learn accounting structure, financial guidelines, systems, and procedures.
• Prepare and submit monthly/ quarterly/ annual tax returns.
• Prepare and deeply participating on annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
• Knowledge of Mongolian laws and regulations in terms of taxation, fiscal policies
• Deeply involve Invoicing, Accounts receivable (AR), Reporting, Month-end closing, expats payroll and fixed asset.
• Deeply involve Intercompany accounts payable
• Cooperate with Project controllers
• Provide administrative and financial back-up to site

• Perform daily accounting duties associated with requirements and provide comprehensive support to Director and Accounting Superintendent as appropriate.
• Maintain accounting documents in compliance with its requirement
• Requires total awareness of and commitment to accounting and book keeping requirements in the workplace and ensure proper procedures are developed and practiced
• Participation in administrative operational decision making as part of the team
• Requires honest and diligent performance
• Maintains confidentiality with respect to Redpath financial, employee and client information
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

• Possession of a bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written English
• Senior Reporting Accountant position requires the KNOWLEDGE OF: Accounts payable, accounts receivable, and maintaining general ledgers, International Financial Reporting Standards, International Accounting standard, general understanding of International Standards on Auditing, cost accounting, Mongolian tax and accounting laws and regulations, and accounting software application.
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Strong skill of working on ERP system
• Ability to process computer data and format and generate reports.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting field
• Possession of a valid certificate as a Certified Public Accountant
• Preferable to have a valid certificate as a Certified Tax Accountant
